Anxiety - A Haiku

There is a balloon

Growing bigger and bigger

Inside my stomach

Keep it all hidden

Do not let anyone see

Everything is fine

Constantly shaking

Beginning to lose control

Breathing gets heavy

Suddenly it pops

Emotions explode everywhere

From rage to sadness

See people staring

Embarrassment floods in me

Please just look away

It’s apart of me

They call it anxiety

And I’m stuck with it
