Trust In Him

it’s always at night,

when the thoughts truly get to me

because it’s dark and quiet,

and nothing can stop them from coming.

this is the time when the self doubt rises,

questions begin to haunt me.

will I ever find what it is I’m looking for,

or will it all lead to disappointment?

it’s the time where I wonder

if things are going the way they should,

and if the things I envision will ever come true.

all I have to do is remember,

that God has a plan

for me and for you.

I just need to keep trusting in Him,

and everything will turn out the way it should.
